The Biden Autopen Scandal: Unveiling the Deep State’s Control, By Charles Taylor (Florida)
Recent revelations from Project Veritas, as reported by Blaze Media, have exposed a shadowy network of influence behind former President Joe Biden's administration, raising serious questions about who truly held power in the White House. Undercover footage featuring Democratic National Committee Vice Chair David Hogg and former Biden administration staffer Deterrian Jones points to a tightly knit inner circle, with Jill Biden's chief of staff, Anthony Bernal, emerging as a central figure wielding "enormous power." Coupled with allegations of widespread autopen use to sign official documents, including controversial pardons, these disclosures suggest a deeper, unelected "Deep State" apparatus, potentially involving intelligence agencies like the CIA and NSA, manipulated the Biden presidency, undermining democratic accountability.
In the Project Veritas video, David Hogg, a prominent gun control activist, candidly admitted to an undercover journalist that the Democratic National Committee (DNC) functions as "a campaign arm of the president ultimately." However, he emphasised that the real issue was Biden's inner circle, specifically naming Anthony Bernal, Jill Biden's chief of staff, as a figure with significant control. Deterrian Jones, a former staffer in Biden's Office of Digital Strategy, echoed this, describing Bernal as a "shadowy, Wizard of Oz-type figure" who was "scary" and wielded "an enormous amount of power" unknown to the public.
Bernal's influence is further underscored by his presence at critical moments. Blaze Media notes he was one of only four aides at Biden's Rehoboth Beach House on July 18, 2024, when the president was allegedly coerced into withdrawing from the 2024 presidential race. A veteran of the Obama and Clinton administrations and Biden's deputy campaign manager in 2024, Bernal's deep ties to Democratic power structures position him as a key player in what some describe as a "politburo" running the White House. Jake Tapper and Alex Thompson's book Original Sin reinforces this, characterising Bernal as one of the most influential figures in Biden's orbit, with a source claiming "five people were running the country, and Joe Biden was at best a senior member of the board."
The use of an autopen, a machine that replicates a signature, to sign official White House documents, including pardons for figures like Anthony Fauci and Mark Milley, has fuelled allegations of a broader conspiracy. Ed Martin, the incoming Department of Justice pardon attorney, revealed that his investigation into the autopen began weeks before May 2025, prompted by a whistleblower from Biden's 2020 campaign. Martin named key "gatekeepers" involved, including Ron Klain, Anita Dunn, Bob Bauer, Steve Ricchetti, and Jill Biden, some of whom are reportedly "lawyering up."
The autopen's use raises alarming questions about the legitimacy of Biden's actions. If pardons and other documents were signed without his direct involvement, it implies a deliberate effort to bypass the president's authority. These allegations align with President Trump's October 2024 statement to Glenn Beck, where he suggested Biden was a figurehead for a "committee" of unelected bureaucrats.
The convergence of Bernal's influence and the autopen scandal points to a deeper, unelected power structure, the so-called Deep State. This is a network of intelligence agencies and Western elites, with the CIA and NSA as the "centre of power." Bernal's role as a "shadowy" figure, combined with the involvement of longtime Democratic operatives like Klain, Dunn, Bauer, and Ricchetti, suggests a coordinated effort to manage Biden, whose mental decline was an open secret within the DNC, as Hogg implied. The fact that these figures overlapped with Martin's list of gatekeepers and Tapper's "politburo" reinforces the narrative of a tightly controlled administration.
This raises grave concerns for Australia, where the Labor government under Anthony Albanese has maintained close ties with the Biden administration. The willingness of globalist institutions like the World Health Organization to exert influence, as seen in the "Disease X" controversy, mirrors the unchecked power of unelected insiders in the US. Australia's failure to distance itself from such international frameworks risks entangling Oz in similar schemes, where sovereignty is eroded by shadowy elites. The Biden autopen scandal serves as a warning: when leaders are puppets, the strings are pulled by those with no accountability to the public.
The revelations about Bernal and the autopen expose a chilling reality: Biden's presidency was, at best, a façade, with real power concentrated in the hands of a few unelected insiders, potentially backed by intelligence agencies. Australia must heed this lesson. Australia must sever ties with globalist entities and scrutinise its own alliances to ensure its democracy isn't similarly compromised. Citizens must demand transparency, reject unchecked bureaucratic power, and rally against any system that allows a "Deep State" to override the will of the people.
"Project Veritas has dropped yet another undercover video, this time tricking Parkland shooting survivor David Hogg into revealing secrets regarding former President Joe Biden's mental decline as well as who was really running the show.
"The foundational question for me is, like, how corrupt is the DNC if so many people knew, or few people knew, about Biden?" the undercover journalist asked Hogg.
"I think the fact of the matter is the DNC is always going to be a campaign arm of the president ultimately. The bigger issue was like the inner circle that was around Biden," Hogg replied, adding, "Like Jill Biden's chief of staff had an enormous amount of power."
Former White House employee Deterrian Jones was also duped by the undercover journalist, chiming in that he would "avoid" Anthony Bernal, Jill Biden's chief of staff, as he was "scary."
"He's just a shadowy, Wizard of Oz-type figure," Jones told the undercover reporter. "I knew how he looked, but the general public wouldn't know how this man looked. But he wielded an enormous amount of power. And I can't stress to you how much power he had at the White House."
"This one was a very interesting one," BlazeTV host Sara Gonzales says. "It was a male undercover journalist who somehow was able to seduce, or otherwise convince, David Hogg."
"Maybe we need to start talking to Anthony Bernal," she continues. "He's a veteran staffer of both the Obama and Clinton administrations, he was Biden's deputy campaign manager during the 2024 presidential campaign."
Gonzales also notes that Bernal was "only one of four aids at the Rehoboth Beach House on July 18, when Biden was coerced to withdraw from the election."
"So very clearly a part of the inner, inner circle, part of the very, very big decision for Joe Biden to step down and/or at least withdraw his name from the 2024 campaign," she adds.
