Edward Ring makes the powerful point, that Christianity can be a force against globalism. The globalist worldview, among other things, proclaims that not even government, but the global financial elites, are the ultimate sovereigns. But for the consistent Christian, who gives to Caesar what is Caesar’s but no more, that cannot be so. God is the ultimate sovereign, and in a conflict between faith and state, religion must triumph. Christians believe in absolutist morality, that there is an objective right and wrong, given by God, which is contrary to the postmodern relativism now widely accepted by the chattering classes. That is important, since it means that some things are worth fighting for, and dying for: “Christians are also a threat because they believe in an afterlife. They are not afraid to lose their possessions or even their lives, because they believe their experience in this world is only a preliminary to heaven. Animating to action a mere fraction of America’s Christians raises an army of millions. They have no fear, because they are God’s army.”
The potential for Christians to take a stand on the core issues of today, even at this late hour, must be disturbing to Lefts and globalists.
